Oslo von Ostritz is a beautiful 12 month old long haired German Shepherd with a gorgeous soft coat. Oslo is a total lovebug. He adores burying his head in your arms, giving kisses, and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s gentle, affectionate, and treat-motivated. Still learning his basic commands, he is picking things up quickly and loves working for praise and snacks. He’s a mellow soul with a sweet, laid-back personality that continues to shine. This big fluffy guy walks beautifully on leash—calm, happy, and polite. He knows his leash manners, walks nicely alongside other dogs, and prefers the company of calmer pups over high-energy playmates. In playgroups, Oslo enters a bit slowly but warms up quickly. He explores the yard, greets other dogs kindly, and mostly prefers to mingle casually. He tends to avoid pushy dogs and instead hangs out with people, seeking out pets and cuddles. Oslo has also passed his cat test and would thrive in a home that appreciates his gentle nature and easygoing energy. He’s ready to be your loyal cuddle buddy. He was a favorite at the South L.A. Animal Shelter. The volunteers spent hours and hours with him. What a lucky dog! Love was poured into sweet Oslo, so many people are hoping he will find his loving home soon.
